Who we are

Golden Triangle Arms & Outdoors is a federally licensed firearms dealer located in Columbus, Mississippi. All firearm sales comply with federal law and the laws of the State of Mississippi.

In-store sales only

Firearms shown on this website are for browsing and inquiry only. Every firearm sale is completed in person at our Columbus store. We do not ship firearms to customers.

Age requirements

ID & residency

Buyers must present valid, current government-issued photo ID showing their current residential address. Handguns may only be sold to Mississippi residents. Non-residents may purchase rifles and shotguns only where permitted by federal law and the laws of their home state.

Background checks

Every buyer must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check through the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). If a check is delayed or denied, the firearm will not be transferred until it is lawfully cleared.

Mississippi notes

Mississippi does not have a state waiting period, a permit-to-purchase requirement or firearm registration. A carry permit is not required to buy a firearm. Buyers are responsible for knowing and following Mississippi carry and transport laws, and the laws of any state they travel to.

Prohibited buyers & straw purchases

Buying a firearm on behalf of another person who is prohibited from owning one, or giving false information on Form 4473, is a federal crime. We will refuse any sale we believe may be a straw purchase or otherwise unlawful.
